Samar Roy  is a Professional Sales Trainer having vast experience in important Sales, Sales Development & Sales Supporting Roles for last 29 years in various MNC  and leading FMCG companies.

He is a Bachelor of Commerce from Calcutta University (1985) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) from IMT, Ghaziabad (2003).

During the period 1985 – 2013, he worked with leading MNC and Indian Companies mostly in FMCG industry. He has undertaken key roles in Sales & Distribution, Channel Development, Sales Promotion roles in leading companies such as Wimco Ltd (now ITC Ltd.), Gillette India Ltd., Ayur Herbals and Kutchina.

He had acquired rich experience during his long 18 years in Gillette. He had developed frontline secondary sales force for Urban, Rural & Modern Trade Channels.

He has undergone training on TQM, CRM, Sales Promotions and Modern Trade Management during his stint with Gillette.
